Branding and Web Design for Avvio

A full rebrand and website redesign for Avvio, tailored to luxury hoteliers. The project improved user engagement, clarified messaging, and enabled AI-powered personalisation, making the brand more direct, modern, and easier to use for clients and internal teams alike.

The Challenge

Avvio, a hospitality tech company, needed a full rebrand and digital overhaul to align its messaging and user experience with the expectations of high-end hoteliers. The previous site and internal tools were outdated, unclear in messaging, and difficult to manage. The key objective was to shift brand perception toward a more user-focused, personal, and modern identity, anchored by the core message of “Be More Direct.” The new brand also had to serve hotel owners, investors, and internal teams equally well, while reflecting the company’s tailored, AI-driven approach to hotel marketing.

The Process

I led the project from start to finish, covering branding, design, development, and stakeholder management. I designed and built a custom website from the ground up, replacing the old in-house system with a flexible, intuitive platform. I also introduced a structured content strategy in collaboration with other departments, ensuring clarity in tone and consistency in delivery.

Visually, the design direction took cues from luxury, growth, and simplicity. Growth was communicated through a subtle use of iconography, while the personal touch came through in warm, accessible photography and clean, legible typography. Alongside the website, I created a brand centre to support internal teams, a dedicated platform for accessing up-to-date assets, templates, and brand guidance.

The Solution

Deliverables included a redesigned website, a central brand resource hub, fully branded slide decks, marketing templates, and event materials. The system was designed not just for presentation, but for function. Internal teams could now update the site easily, while the platform’s flexibility allowed for AI-powered personalisation, enabling region-specific messaging and other dynamic content enhancements.

The rebrand was crafted with a premium hospitality audience in mind, ensuring that every design element felt refined, credible, and intentional. The end result was a system that reflected Avvio’s commitment to customisation and clarity.

The Impact

The rebrand significantly improved user engagement and internal adoption. Visitors now experienced clearer messaging, a smoother navigation flow, and tailored content depending on their region or interests. The updated brand allowed Avvio to showcase its AI capabilities more effectively, setting the stage for smarter, more relevant customer interactions.

Feedback from hoteliers was strong, they appreciated the new clarity around what the company offered and how it could benefit them. Internally, the brand centre became a go-to reference point, helping teams maintain consistency and momentum across future campaigns.
